A Guide for How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home

Knowing your ring size is the first question that comes to a person`s mind while ordering from an online jewelry store, here we will be discussing how you can measure your ring size perfectly at home.  

First of all, your ring should fit your finger comfortably having enough grip that it will not fall off and loose enough to slide over you knuckle with some resistance. 

In Pakistan, there are two standards of ring sizes being commonly used that are Pakistan ring size and U.S ring size. Typically, the sizes differ in men and women in the following manner:

1. Men
   1. Pakistan Ring Size ranges from 16-28
   2. U.S Ring Size ranges from 8-14
2. Women
   1. Pakistan Ring Size ranges from 8-18
   2. U.S Ring Size ranges from 4-9

Method 1: Measure your finger using a paper, strip or floss

1. Take a strip of paper, string or dental floss long enough to fit around your finger.
2. Wrap the paper around the base of your finger.
3. Mark the point when the ends overlap.
4. Measure the length of the paper of string from tip to the mark on a measurement scale.
5. Convert your measurement to ring size by following our ring size chart.

If the size of your finger below the knuckle drastically differs in size from the knuckle itself, measure your knuckle as well. Then choose a size that falls in the middle of these measurements.

Method 2: Measure a ring you already have

If you already have a ring that fits perfectly in your finger then you can also measure your ring size by using that ring.

1. You need to measure the inside diameter of the ring by using a ruler.
2. Take your ruler and measure straight across the inside of the ring at the center from edge to edge.
3. Take the diameter measurement in millimeters on the scale and then use our ring size chart to convert your measurement to find your suitable ring size.
